Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lawrence by IHG

Good place to stay. Road side is a little noisy though but didn't keep me awake. All was clean at arrival but could be better maintained on the entry floor like vacuuming. Shower valve is hanging loose. Good beds and pillows. Plenty of towels and made bed every day.

This seems to be a well-run hotel. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and there are some nice touches - good coffee available 24/7, the breakfast seems well presented, pool and hot tub are ok and there is a Walmart and a target right by it. Only downside was the gym is very small.

We absolutely LOVED our much extended work stay here! We were here for almost 2 months and Mrs. Dawna, in management was so attentive, kind and always giving her 110% into her job to make sure happiness prevails daily and it shows so much! The hotel was always clean, our room stocked, and respected when we had signs Do Not Disturb out. The necessities were always stocked where needed throughout the entire hotel and pool area and any and all questions were responded to and attended to as quickly as possible and due to a better convenience for us she switched us rooms halfway through our stay! The beds were clean and comfortable in both rooms we stayed in with WiFi free & easily accessible. Which is important for us as for we travel with a lot of needed technology for our jobs. Not to mention a breakfast we could always look forward to and eat in if we didn’t want to go out. We will always be returning here for work trips and future Lawrence stays! It was sad leaving after being treated as family during our stay.

Outstanding management, that will make you feel at home. If you bring any issues to their attention it will be immediately dealt with. The staff really does work together and uphold IHG’s standards. Comfy and clean facility for the price. The overnight staff even has fresh coffee brewed by 4:30am for the early birds.

Very clean rooms & comfy beds. Nice clean white towels too. Workers were extremely nice as well for our large travel sports team group. I was impressed by how clean it is for a hotel that isn’t new.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was better than most I've experienced!

Facility as a whole is pretty clean, no complaints there. It's the little things for me like the hole in the wall that they just hung a piece of matching wallpaper over, the trim around the a.c. that's not attached to anything, the actual hole in the wall behind the bathroom door, the bathroom door that doesn't always lock. Things should be fixed as they come up not when they pile up. The pool and gym are very small at this location which was a little disappointing. Edit from 4 stars to 5. Within 12 hours of my review being posted the took action and repairs each item I had mentioned in the review.

Super convenient. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Gave us some great options for food. Rooms were clean, good water pressure, comfy beds, fluffy pillows. I recommend staying in room 100, 200 or 300 because you get a little extra space due to the design of the hotel.
